SameTone Terms of Use

These terms cover one-time purchases of video translation and dubbing allowances and the free allowance provided at registration. There are no subscriptions or automatic renewals.

1. Service provider

SameTone is provided by Paradnik Andrei Sergeevich, acting as an individual. For questions about the service, contact [email protected]. These terms govern your account and use of service features, including video translation and dubbing. Uploads made before registration are governed by the separate Upload Terms.

2. What the service does

You can upload a video, select an available translation language, receive an automatically processed result, and view and download it within the capabilities and limits shown in the interface. Processing may include speech recognition, translation, generating synthetic speech based on voices in the source video, and assembling the final file.

Available features, supported formats, file size and duration limits, and the free processing allowance are shown before the relevant action begins. Processing time depends on the material and the service's current workload. Times shown in the interface are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Account and access

The service is intended for people aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and should notify us at [email protected] if you notice unauthorized access. Sign-in with Google is also subject to Google's terms.

When you register, you accept these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you upload a video before registration, you separately accept the Upload Terms. Translation and speech synthesis begin after registration and acceptance of these terms.

You may use the service within the features available to you and these terms. We may temporarily restrict access if there are signs of a security breach, fraud, or a material violation of these terms, providing a reason and a way to contact us where possible.

4. Rights to materials and permission to process them

You retain the rights you hold in uploaded materials. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to transfer and store the materials and to request translation and dubbing, including processing the speech, images, and voices of people in them. This requirement applies to every material, including videos uploaded before registration. The necessary rights and permissions must be obtained before the relevant activities begin. Where permission from a person or their legal representative is required, including for a minor, you must obtain it. Transfer and processing of material must also be consistent with your authority and your confidentiality obligations to a client, employer, or other rights holder.

After registration and acceptance of these terms, you grant SameTone and its providers a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, make necessary technical copies of, store, transform, and transmit your materials solely to work on your project: carry out your selected translation and dubbing, store source files and results, provide viewing and downloads, add language versions at your request, support the service, check translation and dubbing quality, identify and fix errors, maintain security, and address requests and substantiated complaints. Activities involving the materials are limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.

This license lasts while the project is stored and access to it is provided. After confirmation of a request to delete material, deletion of the project or account, or termination of service for the project, only activities needed to retain and delete remaining copies within the periods and exceptions described in the Privacy Policy are permitted.

User videos, voices, texts, and results are not used to train models by SameTone or its AI providers. Publishing user work in advertising, portfolios, or public examples requires the user's separate consent and respect for the rights of other people in the material.

5. Processing results

You may download and use the result, including in commercial projects, if you have the necessary rights to the source materials and the intended use of the result, and third-party rights are respected. If particular materials require attribution to an author or source, you must comply with those requirements. The service retains rights to its own software, interface, and technology. Using the service does not transfer those rights to you.

Translations, pronunciation, synthetic speech, and images may contain errors. You must check the result before publishing it or using it where an error could cause harm. We do not guarantee that a result will be suitable for every particular purpose or that every element of AI-generated material will qualify for exclusive copyright protection.

6. Free allowance, payments, and refunds

Free allowance and balance. On registration, you receive a free processing allowance. Its amount and limits are shown in the service. Creating an account and using this allowance do not require payment. Your current balance and available allowance are also shown in the service. Before starting a translation, we show the minutes and seconds required for your selected language versions. If the balance is insufficient, translation does not start. Payment occurs only after you select a paid offer and confirm the purchase.

The required allowance is reserved from your balance during processing. The reserved allowance is charged for successfully completed language versions. If processing of a version is unsuccessful and no result is delivered, the corresponding reserved allowance is released back to your balance.

One-time top-ups. You may separately purchase a package of minutes and seconds for video translation. Before you confirm payment, we show the amount of the top-up, the full price including applicable taxes and fees, the currency, any expiry period for the purchased balance, and the rules for unused allowance. The terms of the specific purchase are available before payment. Once payment is confirmed, the purchased allowance is credited on the terms shown at purchase, and purchase information is saved in a form accessible to you.

Each top-up is a separate purchase. It does not create a subscription or renew automatically. We do not charge you again without a new purchase confirmation. If your balance runs out, you may choose to top it up again.

Cancellation and refunds. Contact [email protected] with your account and top-up details. We review requests concerning incorrect or duplicate charges, paid allowance that was not credited, and other purchase problems. The refund conditions for unused allowance and the consequences of processing that has already begun are shown before payment and apply subject to mandatory consumer rights. Consumers in Brazil have a statutory right to cancel a distance purchase within seven days; the procedure for exercising that right must be available at purchase. These terms do not limit cancellation or refund rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Prohibited use

You must not upload materials or create results that violate the law, copyright, or other people's image, voice, or privacy rights. In particular, you must not upload, process, create, or distribute intimate images or videos of a person without that person's consent, including AI-generated or synthetic material. You must not use results to deceive others or impersonate another person. You must not use the service for fraud, malicious activity, attempts to access other people's accounts, or bypassing technical restrictions. We may investigate complaints about specific material and restrict access to it where there are grounds to do so.

8. File access, retention, and deletion

You may view and download your project files within the service's available features. Moving files to a more economical storage tier must not change ordinary viewing and downloading in your account.

Retention periods for source files, dubbed versions, anonymous uploads, and account data are described in the Privacy Policy and shown in the interface where relevant to your decision. Deleting a project or account ends access to the corresponding files, so download any results you need beforehand. Changes to and termination of the service are governed by section 9.

To request deletion of a project, account, or data, contact [email protected] or use an available service function. Request verification, deletion periods for working systems and backups, and permitted exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to and termination of the service

We may update features and temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, troubleshooting, or user protection. We will give advance notice of material changes to these terms or closure of the service through the website or email, unless urgent circumstances require immediate action. If changes affect purchased access, its continued use and any refund are governed by the purchase terms and applicable law.
